General:
- Every cupcake lover coming to cupcake camp will purchase an admission ticket at a suggested donation of $10/adults, $5/kids to the event. When they do so, adults will get 5 tasting coupons and children (10 and under) will get 3 tasting coupons
- Tasters will redeem their tasting coupons for cupcakes at the table they choose. Every professional baker cupcake will ‘cost’ 2 tasting coupons. Amateur baker cupcakes will be worth 1 coupon
- Mini cupcakes will be half price – professional baker mini cupcakes will be 1 coupon, and for amateurs, people will get 2 mini cupcakes for 1 tickets (no half ticket sales)
- Extra tasting coupons will be sold inside for $2 each
- We are expecting a very large crowd. Although difficult to estimate, we are hoping for 400-700 people!!
Professional Bakers:
- A maximum of two representatives from your bakery are allowed to work at your booth. The representatives will have free admission to the event, as well as five tasting coupons each. If you choose not to send representatives, we will have some basic signs for your company and our volunteers will gladly distribute your cupcakes.
- You will have ONE 6 ft table to display and distribute your cupcakes. These tables will have linens and skirts. We will send you your assigned table # the week before the event.
- You will have access to a storage table behind the booth to store any extra cupcakes. This table may be shared with other bakers, and will be 18” wide by 6 ft long
- You may bring cupcake stands, display trays, and signs, business cards and fliers as you wish. However, please limit the signs to a size that can be displayed on or attached to the table and not freestanding. The tables will be close to each other and therefore we will be limited in space.
- All of your materials (cupcake stands, containers to transport cupcakes, signs, etc) must be clearly labled with your NAME and TABLE #. This will prevent any confusion or lost property.
- You may bring mini cupcakes or regular cupcakes. However, if you bring mini cupcakes, they will count towards ½ of a regular cupcake in fulfilling the number of cupcakes you committed to donating. For example, if you commit to bringing 150 cupcakes, then you would need to bring 300 mini cupcakes.
- You may bring as many flavors as you want. Just be conscious of what the demand might be (people may be disappointed if some flavors are limited)
- We are receiving cupcakes from starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday 6/2. Please arrive on time! We will send you your table number prior to the event. Setup time will be from 11am-1pm, and you are responsible for setting up your own table. Arrive early if you think you may need more time to set up. The gym is easily reached by car or van.
- You must check in with the cupcake contest coordinator (Jim Woo) no later than 12:30 pm in order to enter your cupcake(s) into the contest. You may not participate in the contest if you have no checked in by 12:30pm.
- You may submit 1 type of cupcake into the contest. 6 cupcakes are required for the judging. It will be judged based on cake, frosting, and decoration and your cupcake is eligible to win out of all three categories. There will also be a best of show.
Amateur Bakers:
- Because of space limitations, we request that only one representative work each booth at a time. Each registrant baker will receive a free admission ticket (i.e. 5 tasting coupons). If you choose not to represent your cupcakes, we will have volunteers man a table for those cupcakes donated.
- You will have a portion of an 6 foot table to display and distribute your cupcakes. These tables willl have linens and skirts. We will send you your table # before the event.

- Again because of space limitations, we ask that you bring no stands or signs. We will provide simple signs with your name on it. You are welcome to bring any business cards or flyers if you are trying to get your business up and out to the public.
